This multi-disciplinary program combines creative and technical aspects of editorial practice and publishing production with marketing and distribution. You will develop a sound knowledge of all aspects of book and magazine publishing and examine new media and electronic publishing. Through the elective program you will be able to focus on areas of special interest.Focus on managing people, finance and operational aspects of book and magazine publishing. You will also study design, desktop publishing, commissioning, editing and select options in areas of specialist interest.

Assessment

Coursework, projects, contextual studies and personal and professional development.

Suitability/Prerequisites

For entry to Year One you must have a completed at least one year of a BFA degree, GPA 3.0 or higher. For entry to Year Two you must have at least two years of a BFA degree related to Publishing.
