Photography
Content
Develop your
potential for independent and self-motivated photographic practice
while enabling you to contribute to critical and professional debates
in visual culture. You will be given a grounding in photographic
techniques and practices, applying these skills in traditional and
digital photography. You will also be introduced to broader media
and cultural debates through the common core of the Communications
Media degree program, which also supports your personal and professional
development. Visits will introduce you to a variety of London-based
production facilities such as photographic studios, magazine and
newspaper publishing houses and processing facilities. London's
world renowned art centres, galleries and museums provide wonderful
stimuli for project work.

Suitability/Prerequisites
For entry to
Year One you must have a portfolio of work completed at least one
year of a BFA degree, GPA 3.0 or higher. For entry to Year Two,
you must have at least two years of a BFA degree related to Photography.
