The London Institute 

The London Institute brings together five of the most famous art and design colleges in the world: 

    London College of Printing
     Camberwell College of Arts 
     Central Saint Martins College of Art & Design 
     Chelsea College of Art & Design 
     London College of Fashion 

Together they make the London Institute one of the world's largest academic centers for art, design, and communications. Each college has the full range of studios, workshops, seminar rooms, and lecture theaters to support its courses. There are specialist libraries in each college, open access and specialist computing facilities, and a state-of-the-art internet and intranet system.

Half of the teaching staff are visiting tutors who are active professionals in their field - this ensures that your study is rooted in professional practice and offers many opportunities to take part in real-life projects linked with industry. Students can study at the London Institute at all levels from introductory to PhD. The Institute has 17,000 students on accredited courses and 11,000 in continuing education. 

The London Institute's alumni have included some of the 20th century's most famous artists, designers, and communications specialists including: Patrick Caulfield (Painting, Chelsea), Gilbert & George (Fine Art, Central Saint Martins), John Hegarty (Advertising, London College of Printing), Howard Hodgkin (Painting, Camberwell), Henry Moore (Sculpture, Chelsea), and more recently: Neville Brody (Typography, London College of Printing), John Galliano (Fashion, Central Saint Martins), Nicola Jeal (Fashion Journalism, London College of Fashion), and Rankin (Photography, London College of Printing).
