You should be at least 17 by 1st September in the year of entry, be educated to a satisfactory secondary school level and also have IELTS level 4.0 in English language or equivalent. As student ability varies, it may be necessary to attend a longer programme than the initial ten week course described. If in doubt, please contact our office for advice about your suitability and the options available. All applicants must be interviewed before being accepted onto the course.

Assessment & Progression

You will be required to work towards producing a portfolio for assessment, the criteria for which will be based on the individual establishing a direction for further study at the London Institute. In addition your ability in English language will be tested at the end of the programme.

A certificate of attendance will be issued on successful completion of your course.

Successful completion of the Pre-foundation programme is your stepping stone to our prestigious foundation courses and then onto BA honours degrees. Information on foundation courses will be distributed as part of your programme or you can view these online at www.lcp.linst.ac.uk

Structure

This is a full-time course, over 15 hours per week for 10 weeks. Dependent on your ability you will receive approximately four hours language tuition per week.

Fees

£1,899 (including VAT) for each 10 week course attended.
