Suitability

All English Plus options are taught by professionals and are suitable for beginners or near-beginners, apart from English Plus Journalism and English Plus Advertising where an intermediate level of English is required.

Assessment

For each eleven week course attended you will receive 165 hours of English language and 77 hours of professional training.

A certificate of attendance will be issued on successful completion of your course.

Your English language and professional capabilities will be assessed at the beginning and end of each eleven week term attended.

Structure

This is a full time course, over 15 hours a week for 11 weeks. You will spend every morning (Monday to Friday, 9.00 - 12.15) at the Language Centre, studying English in a class to suit your level.

A wide range of skills and topics will be covered, allowing you to develop your language and your confidence at the same time. The Language Centre can offer you state of the art language studios for class and private study, with Internet and email access, fully qualified and experienced tutors, a carefully organised social programme and a maximum class size of fourteen.

You will spend two afternoons a week (14.00 - 17.30) at LCP. There will be hands-on sessions in studios as well as workshops, talks and visits. Your exact programme will depend on which option you choose.

Location

Your language tutoring will take place at 65 Davies Street in the heart of London's West End, the capital's famous shopping and fashion district.

The professional elements of your course will be delivered at either LCP campus at the Elephant and Castle or at the Back Hill campus in Clerkenwell. See locations.
