Aims
This course will introduce you to the terminology, knowledge and skills relevant for journalism. As a beginner, you will be given an overview of newsgathering and writing to feature writing, interviewing and sub-editing. It will give an intensive introduction to all aspects of print journalism so that you can start making a useful contribution and have a solid foundation to build on as you become more experienced.
Suitability
If you are new to journalism or are interested in beginning a career in journalism or a related industry and are keen to strengthen your knowledge of the field of journalism. You should have a good level of written and spoken English and an awareness of current affairs to fully benefit from this course.
