Feature Writing

Aims

You will analyse different publications for variations in feature style and construction, appreciate what makes a good feature and receive a thorough introduction and explanation of all the techniques required in the specialist field of planning, developing and writing a feature. You will be able to practice these techniques through practical exercises, set during the course.

Suitability

For those interested in pursuing feature writing as a career, or for those already working in the media, but who have no formal training. Delegates in research or editorial assistant roles will find this introductory course of particular interest.
